Inductance

The inductance of the plug-in inductor is a property of closed loop and physical quantity. When the coil passes current, magnetic field induction is formed in the coil, and then induced current is generated to resist the current flowing through the coil. After the American scientist Joseph Henry, this interaction between current and coil is called inductance or inductance in Henry (H). It is a circuit parameter that describes the electromotive force effect induced in this coil or another coil due to changes in the coil current. Zhongshan plug-in inductor manufacturer Inductance is the general term for self-inductance and mutual inductance. A device that provides an inductor is called an inductor.

Inductance Unit

Since the inductance was discovered by the American scientist Joseph Henry, the unit of inductance is “Henry”, abbreviated as Henry (H).

Other units of inductance are: millihenry (mH), microhenry (μH), nanohenry (nH)

Inductance unit conversion:

1HenryH=1000 MillihenrymH

1 millihenrymH=1000 microhenryuH

1 microhenryuH=1000 nanohenrynH

Definition

A property of a conductor, measured by the ratio of the electromotive force or voltage induced in the conductor to the rate of change of the current that produces this voltage. The steady current produces a stable magnetic field, and the constantly changing current (AC) or fluctuating direct current produces a changing magnetic field. The changing magnetic field in turn induces an electromotive force in the conductor in this magnetic field. The magnitude of the induced electromotive force is proportional to the rate of change of the current. The scale factor is called the inductance, represented by the symbol L, and the unit is Henry (H). Inductance is a property of a closed loop, that is, when the current passing through the closed loop changes, an electromotive force will appear to resist the change of the current. This kind of inductance is called self-inductance, which is the property of the closed loop itself. Assuming that the current in a closed loop changes, an electromotive force is generated in another closed loop due to induction. This inductance is called mutual inductance.
